Before F&M, he served as Dean of the Colin Powell School at the City College of New York, where he grew the school by 40 percent, launched eight new fellowship programs, built a Public Service Career Hub, and raised more than $85 million in new investments for students. Before that, he led the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation and the Roosevelt Institute, a national think tank tied to the legacy of FDR.A Truman Scholar himself, Andy holds a doctorate in political science from Yale and has spent his career at the intersection of higher education, public service, and leadership development.
